Accounts
You can use the clock, timer, stopwatch and focus tools without an account. If you sign up with an email address, Google or Apple, we store your email address, your display name and your plan so we can sign you in and keep your settings with you.
You can download a copy of your data or permanently delete your account at any time from your Account page. Deleting it cancels any subscription and removes your profile, synced data, focus history, Tick chats, workspace, profile picture and leaderboard entry. We keep a record of past purchases (amount, date and status, no longer linked to you) where we need it for accounting, and support messages you sent, with your name and email removed.
What we store
When you are signed in, your timetable, calendar, countdowns, limits, tasks, Software Hub pins and links, command shortcuts, focus history and appearance, sound and music preferences are saved to your account so they follow you across devices. When you are signed out, the same information stays only in your browser's local storage on that device. Signing out removes your account's copy from that browser.
Teams
If you create or join a team, its other members can see your display name, your role and when you joined, plus the team's name and any links shared with it. They can't see your email address, tasks, personal links, focus history, reports or anything else in your account. Invitations are private links that the person inviting you shares themselves; TimeTick doesn't send invitation emails. If you delete your account you leave all your teams, and a team you own passes to its longest-standing admin or member, or is deleted if nobody else is in it.
Worldwide leaderboard
The leaderboard is opt-in. You only appear on it after you turn it on in Settings. When you take part, other people can see your display name, your country, your profile picture (if you added one), your Pro or Free badge and your focus time for the month. Your email address and everything else in your account stay private. You can leave at any time in Settings, and your entry is removed straight away.
Cookies and similar storage
We use local storage that is needed to keep you signed in and to remember your preferences. Analytics cookies (Google Analytics) are only used if you choose "Allow analytics" when asked. You can change your choice at any time below.
Payments (Stripe)
TimeTick Pro subscriptions are handled by Stripe. Card details are entered on Stripe's secure checkout and are never seen or stored by TimeTick. We keep only the subscription reference, its status and renewal dates so we know whether your Pro access is active.
Analytics
If you allow it, we use Google Analytics to understand how many people use TimeTick and which pages load correctly. This is not used to build advertising profiles. If you choose "Essential only", Google Analytics is not loaded.
Tick and Workspace (AI)
Messages you send to Tick, and the answers you give when setting up Workspace, are sent to an AI model (provided through Lovable's AI gateway) to generate a reply, and may include results from a web search. If you are signed in, your Tick chats and workspace are saved to your account so you can come back to them; you can delete chats at any time. Please don't share personal or sensitive information with Tick.
Other services we use
TimeTick runs on Lovable Cloud (hosting and database). Payments are processed by Stripe. Emails, such as replies to support requests, are sent through Lovable's email service. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts. If you turn on live weather, your approximate location is sent to Open-Meteo to fetch the forecast. Music plays from the Internet Archive, and the optional Spotify player is provided by Spotify, which applies its own privacy policy. Daily Brief headlines and images come from BBC News.
Your choices
You can sign out to stop syncing, leave the leaderboard in Settings, download or delete your data from your Account page, or contact us through Support.
Analytics cookies are currently not chosen yet.
